The Wild East

OK, so no updates in a while.  This is just a quick one to tell a little about our events on the weekend of 21 October.  So, first things first.  Friday we spent a wonderful evening with some new friends at their house in San Lurenzo.  It was a late night after a long week, but was really great.  Ves and I both fell in love with their little dogs.  Really full of fun.

Saturday started rather late.  We had planned to meet Jag, a work colleague, in the morning, however, slept and lazed around a bit.  We ended up heading to Greenhills at about 1pm, spending most of our time looking at TV's and other home appliances, all in planning to furnish a house should we choose to go the house vs condo route.

Anyhow, Saturday night was also rather late.  Jag popped over for some dinner and we had a good time eating a chatting.

Sunday morning was a early one, with church followed by a walk to the guitar stores.  Sunday's plan was simply to chill and then head over to a Canadian thanks given.  Yes, the friends from Friday (Daniel and Lindsay) invited us to join a lunch in Fort Bonifacio.  What a great time.  We got to meet many new young adults, all from the church.  Good food, good fellowship, and off-course, a little rugby.

The day pretty much ended with that dinner...  Daniel and Lindsay were kind enough to be our transportation for the day.

Oh wait, there is more.  We popped over to Daniel's place for a movie, and ended up heading to the mall (guys only).  Yes.  Sounds strange, but us guys left the ladies at the house and went over to Cinema Square Mall.  It wasn't for a normal shopping.  This mall has 2 shooting ranges in the lower level.

We ended up getting to the range just before closing.  We each got 50 bullets and split them over a 9mil and a 45.  This was my first time firing a weapon, and after feeling how easy it is to squeeze the trigger, and to realize just how easy it is for an accident to happen, I am sure I will never allow one in my house.  It is crazy.  That said, it was a lot of fun to do it.  Check my target below.  The 45 shredded the targets neck.  Only 4 shots off target.
