Well, this morning was a struggle to get up. My comfy hostel bed was begging me to stay a little longer (hence I did not get up until 45minutes after my alarm). This whole hostel thing is so cool. Yes, it is not a 3 Star hotel, but hey, we are only spending a couple of hours a night in the room, and the rest of the time is either out on tour or in the common area using the Internet. The pancakes this morn were cooked to perfection. I have semi mastered the art of making them. Hopefully, tomorrows will be even better. The trick is in adding more butter stuff to the pan in between flipping them (at least, that's what I reckon).
The plan for the day was a little ride on the tram to the pier, where we were to rent bicycles. This was executed to perfection. We ran a little late, due to Ms Bailey and Mr Strydom being a little late to union square.
Many photo's were taken. The bike ride took us past some beautiful spots, with the main one being the Golden Gate Bridge. The build up to getting there included many stops for photos. The weather, well, was not ideal for photos. In fact, the wind was ice cold.
As you can see, four of us are sticking together as much as possible for the San Fran part of the tour.
Werner, Megan, Marius and myself. We have a rad understanding, as we are in effect 2 separate groups. We do stuff together, but, if we cannot or if for some reason, trying to find each other takes longer than 15min, we go our own ways. Really cool, as this reduces the time spent in looking for one another etc.
So, the bike ride was tons of fun. We took it slow, stopping at all spots and taking far to many photos. I am really doing my best to limit the pics selected for display. Golden Gate Bridge was, well, interesting. We rode across it and then took a Ferry back with the bikes. Very cool. Well, below are a couple of pics of us on the tour.

Well, as you can imagine, after all of this, we were "Pooped". The Ferry ride and the waiting for the Ferry resulted in eyes being closed, mouths opened and some ZzZz's flying.
Next Blog update is unlikely to be anytime soon, as we are out to Alcatraz tomorrow, then heading to New York overnight. I can hopefully update once in New York.
